Fun Experience at Farm Fresh, UPM

26th February 2023

It was the last week of February, my husband and I decided to bring our son to Farm Fresh, UPM located of course at UPM, Serdang.

It was a Sunday so I expected it to be crowded but since it's a farm and it's outdoor so the crowd shouldn't be a problem. The commute wasn't far from our house. Estimated 30-35 minute drive only. We've checked the weather forecast beforehand and to our luck the weather was nice that day since it has been raining everyday in the evening.

I didn't packed much. Just my bag, few diapers, Musa's water bottle, and a set of clothes in case his clothes are dirty.

When we arrived at the parking space, there were so many cars parked. It took us a couple of rounds to get a parking space.

I absolutely love the entrance. They have a red barn as an entrance which was so aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. The entrance fee is quite affordable, adults RM15, children RM10, and under 4 years old gets free access. The prices mentioned are for weekends. Since Musa is below 2 years old, we only pay for 2 adults.

You'll see this once you enter pass the red barn entrance.

On the right side, they a cafe/restaurant. Please note that everything is cashless here and they do not accept cash, except for the small food vendors which are located to the furthest left.

We went to see the star of the show, the cows of course!

You can only watch them. You can't feed or pet them. So it was quite boring but at least Musa gets the experience of seeing the cows up close.

Moving on.

As we walk to the other side of the farm, we've noticed a bunch of kids queuing for the barrel ride. As a mom obviously I was estatic for Musa to ride one and wanting to get loads of photos and videos but also anxious that he'll try to jump off the barrel since Musa is quite an active kid and is very unpredictable.

When my husband put him at the end of the barrel, I kept reminding Musa to stay inside and don't stand up until the tractor stops. To my relieved he did what he was told and stayed put the entire ride.

He had so much fun that he kept requesting to go again for four times!

Look at that cutie, ughhh..

We bribe him with food to distracted him from the barrel ride. Food is always Musa's top priority. We shared a burger and fries and a cup of corn. We sat on the green grass and just enjoyed the food, the wind and the scenery. I love this kind of moment. It was perfect.
There's other activities as well, such as horse riding, and tractor ride but we didn't do any of that because you need pay an additional fee for the horses and the queue for the tractor ride were ridiculously long.

So we went about to the cows statues for picture taking session.

Here's what the cafe looks like. The prices are okay, as expected for a cafe. We didn't get the chance to try some of the food because it was late and the place closes at 7pm. So we just went to the shop and bought some of Farm Fresh milks.

I bought their new Farm Fresh Grow, formulated for children, for Musa to try. He likes it. I might buy this from now on since it has 0% sucrose, 0% vegetable fats, and 0% maltodextrin. Anything that has 0% and has lots of benefits, I'm sold.

Overall, I just love the ambience here. A short escape from the busy buzzing city and just enjoying nature. The barrel ride made me love this place even more because Musa absolutely enjoys it. I've lost count on how many time he's ride it (yes, we went again early March, our second time!). Oh yes, the barrel ride is free by the way so go on it as much as you like.

Til next post, bye.
